What You’re Looking For
Venango Machine Products is equipped with a combination of engine lathes, turret lathes, Bullards, and CNC horizontal & vertical lathes designed for precision turning. VMP offers a wide range of metal turning services including straight turning, taper turning, boring, profiling and external grooving, hard turning, knurling, reaming, threading (both imperial & metric), and more. Whether you require one off prototype parts, production runs, replacement components, or re-machining of worn parts, we can help. VMP has experience with parts as small as half inch shear pins to big parts such as seal retainers up to 44" in diameter. With over 55 years' experience and highly qualified industry experienced machinists we have the know-how to reliably deliver on all of your turned products.
Milling & Drilling

Venango Machine Products, Inc has a combination of CNC Haas mills, Bridgeports, jig bore, and a horizontal mill. Our biggest Haas mill can run parts with 64" on the X axis, 40" on Y, 30" on Z, and has a spindle nose to table max of 34". Offering a wide range of milling & drilling Serivices VMP is also capable of 3D milling & Prototyping of 3D printed parts for concept evolution and utilizes Renshaw probing in process gauging ensuring complete accuracy of every part. Blanchard Grinding
We Know What We’re Doing
Blanchard Grinding, technically referred to as Rotary Surface Grinding, quickly removes stock from one side of a part that is typically too large to be Double-Disc Ground. Parts as big as 34" in diameter can be ground on our largest machine. Using significantly greater horsepower than other grinding methods, rotary grinding removes large amounts of stock quickly and efficiently. VMP is able to provide Blanchard Ground parts with superior surface finishes holding dimensional tolerances to ± .001″, parallelism to .001″, and flatness to .001″. Utilizing a magnetic chuck VMP can effectively grind thin, hard to hold material configurations. Premachining costs and turnaround time can be reduced by simultaneously Blanchard Grinding multiple parts leaving uniform part-to-part thickness, tolerances, and surface finishes at a lower unit cost.
